Early Childhood Care & Education Programme (ECCE) is a universal childcare programme designed to give children access to 3 hours per day for up to 2 years free preschool education before they start primary school. For more information click here
All families can access support through the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) and as this is unique to each family as it offers two typws of subsidy Universal Subsidies are available to all families with children under 3 years old and Income Assessed Subsidies are available to families with children aged between 24 weeks and 15 years. This subsidy is means tested and will be calculated based on your individual circumstances.
